These Towns, Cities and Hawaii Declared a Climate Emergency!

To Help Spread the Word, Maybe Start with These Towns, Cities and Tribes Who Have Already Declared a Climate Emergency

The towns, cities, and counties and the state of Hawaii shown below and on They Did Too! all know that they can't make a full, just transition to a clean, healthy economy without the federal government's participation and leadership.

As a result, show their elected officials that it's in their residents' and local or state government's best interest to support and then later enjoy our Plan's national-wide True Cost Pricing and Green Economy Rebates described below.

First, the Petition's Plan is to periodically deposit Green Economy Rebates into the bank accounts of their residents making less than $400,000 a year.
That will help buffer the vast majority from prices going up economy-wide and help them buy greener goods, services and vehicles.
This includes the roughly 6 million undocumented immigrants who pay federal income tax, Social Security tax, and state and local sales taxes, some of whom are probably residents in their town, city or state.

Green Economy Rebates Fund Just Transition & Green Job Boom

As the Petition's Plan also proposes, explain to the elected officials of these towns, cities, counties and states that their residents who have worked in local polluting industries such as oil, gas and coal, will receive training for new, green, good-paying, union if they choose, jobs.
So will their unemployed and underemployed inner-city, urban, suburban and rural residents of diverse backgrounds including some who lost jobs that moved overseas and others who've been left out due to racial discrimination.
Among these new green jobs would be those installing solar, wind, insulation, and detoxifying homes, workplaces, 45,000+ abandoned mines, 120,000+ orphan wells, and over 450,000 abandoned brown fields suspected of having contaminated soil!
Local homeowners, apartment house owners, renters, businesses and farmers will receive financial help to buy these same solar, wind, energy conservation and detoxification services, with a new slogan for America ...

Your Home and Business Is Your Castle, Make It Your and America's Clean Power Plant Too!

Resident homeowners and renters will receive financial help to buy American-made electric vehicles, some which could be powered by their own solar and wind systems.
Some will receive training to build a national clean energy and storage grid, including concentrated solar thermal plants which can produce energy day and night!
If their area needs a clean water system, some residents will be trained to build it.
Local public transportation agencies will receive monies to increase routes and lower rates with American-made electric vans, buses, ferries, trams and trains powered by wind, solar and the new national, clean energy and storage grid.
Some more congested cities and urban areas might receive help to even make fares free. The additional cost to these agencies of offering free fares might be partially or maybe totally offset by not only more ridership but Green Economy Rebates as together they'll reduce congestion, lost time just sitting behind the wheel, and the national cost of traffic accidents which in 2019 was a colossal 340 billion dollars!
These transit agencies might also receive help to put up public charging stations and upgrade roads and bridges to accommodate pedestrians, cyclists, electric scooter riders and our current transportation fleets.
Rural areas will receive monies to help farmers go organic, sustainable and regenerative so they can build America’s soil fertility back up, which in the Corn Belt has dropped 24% to 46%, while sequestering greenhouse gases and preventing water and air pollution.
Farmers will receive helping buying American-made electric tractors and other farm equipment, especially implements useful for organic farming.
